Amy Fowler Stadler
Founder and Managing Partner, Lewis & Fowler
As a Managing Partner, Amy is responsible for customer relationship management, partner relationships, business development, marketing, sales and strategic direction and guidance to Lewis & Fowler's team of professional consultants. She also is a professional speaker and management consultant and frequently presents on topics of interest to the business and IT community.
Amy has 25 years in the business and technology industry and is a thought leader on IT strategy, portfolio management, applying balanced scorecard approaches to IT performance measurement and program recovery. She consults extensively with senior-level executives of multinational companies seeking to improve business performance. Prior to starting Lewis & Fowler, Amy was Director of the Qwest E-Commerce Program Management Office overseeing $100M of projects for Global and Small Business. Prior to Qwest, Amy was a consultant with Perot Systems, a three billion dollar IT Consulting Company where she developed their PMO practice, ran delivery for key customers, worked on the rebranding of Perot Systems, along with implementing numerous program management offices in Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Perot Systems, Amy held various IT leadership positions in Colorado, as well as in Illinois. Amy has experience in a wide variety of industries including: insurance, retail, financial services, healthcare, energy, utility, consulting, wholesale distribution, telecommunications, travel and aviation among others.
Amy is a founder and Past President of the Society of Information Management (SIM) Colorado Chapter. She has been a keynote speaker for Microsoft's Executive Round table on Portfolio Management, a keynote speaker for Performancesoft on IT performance measurement, a partner with Microsoft and CSC hosting a “best in class”, Women In Leadership Series, a guest speaker for the State of Colorado IT Forum, guest speaker for Portland PMI, Denver PMI, Loveland PMI, Boise PMI and Austin PMI. In addition, Amy is a PMP and a member in Project Management Institute, CSIA, Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber, SIM Dallas and SIM Colorado. Amy is a board member for Girls Inc. of Denver Metro, Colorado Coalition for Gender in IT, and also an advisory board member for The Women's College of the University of Denver's Applied Computing Program.
Born in Peoria, Illinois, Amy received her bachelor's in Computer Science from Illinois State University in 1986 and has advanced studies in technology management.
