Senior IMP/IMS Business Lead

Summary
Lewis & Fowler Senior IMP/IMS Business Leads are responsible for managing teams of Project Planners in the delivery of the IMP/IMS. The successful Lewis & Fowler Business Lead must show leadership and the initiative to guide integrated project teams in complex implementations. Excellent team and interpersonal communication skills, business acumen and solid planning and execution knowledge and a desire to work in engineering and science related environments is required. Strong customer relationship skills are required. Lewis & Fowler Business Leads may be required to travel and may manage multiple project teams in parallel.

Job Description:
Advise, develop and maintain on all elements of an IMP/IMS based program. Provides IMP/IMS development and analysis of integrated schedules, resource planning, budgets, and current performance and program forecasts.
  • Track and assess program progress, perform continuous risk management and recommend strategies to adjust to proposed program changes.
  • Closely follow financial status, assess performance, and establish future budget requirements.
  • Analyze contract requirements and work closely with contracting staff to provide suitable, timely and accurate contract modifications.
  • Plan, lead, participate in and track actions resulting from program reviews.
  • Devises strategies for deploying and implementing new policy initiatives.
  • Develops schedule structures to ensure horizontal and vertical traceability of integrated schedules.
  • Schedules regular status and working meetings with each engineering group to advance the project.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Professional Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 10+ years experience working in on government programs & Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) is required.
  • Demonstrated IMP/IMS team management skills.
  • Experience working in a proposal environment.
  • Experience working on large complex programs.
  • Bachelor Degree and 5 years related work experience.
  • MS Project, RTP, MPM, Primavera.
  • Work Breakdown Structures, program scheduling, project budgeting and Earned Value Performance measurement.
  • Must have the ability to work independently with general direction and minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work on problems of diverse scope and complexity, where analysis of data requires identifiable factors.
  • Has demonstrated good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and the ability to work well with other contractor personnel.
