Kevin Lewis

Founder and Managing Partner

Kevin is a founding partner of Lewis & Fowler. He is responsible for business development, partner relationships and engagement delivery as well as providing strategic direction and guidance to Lewis & Fowler's team of business and management consultants. Kevin consults on client engagements in the areas of Program and Project Management, IT management processes and organizational structure and alignment.

Kevin has led the implementation of large programs and developed Program Management Offices (PMOs), with supporting tools and processes. In addition, Kevin has experience in network engineering, technical procurement and technology organizational management supporting a wide range of technologies in networking, end user support, help desk operations and application development.

Prior to founding Lewis & Fowler, Kevin held several key positions at Qwest Communications, formerly U S WEST, Inc. Kevin was a Senior Director of Information Technology at Qwest Communications International, where he led a team that was responsible for IT operational processes, tools and metrics for a 7,000+ information technology organization. He was responsible for the successful introduction of organizational-wide agile development methodologies, tools and integration with existing application development processes.

Prior to Qwest, Kevin was the Senior Director of E-Commerce operations at US WEST Communications leading a PMO with delivery responsibility for over $500M in technology projects, an operational finance organization, and an E-commerce performance measurement group.

Kevin also was the Director of Corporate Systems for US WEST Inc. where he was responsible for technology resources for Legal, Human Resources, Regulatory, Risk Management and International operations.

Kevin is a credentialed Project Management Professional (PMP), a member of the Project Management Institute and a past member of the Colorado PMO Forum. He is a founding board member and past treasurer for the Colorado Society for Information Management and is active in the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), Air Force Association (AFA) and the Aurora Chamber of Commerce Defense Council.

Kevin has a BS degree in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Economics from Regis College and has advanced studies in Technology Management from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business.
